451 Research: With tracing, Sumo Logic chases observability trend

According to 451 Research, Sumo Logic is among the monitoring vendors responding to customer interest in reducing the number of tools they use for monitoring and incident response. In their recent Voice of the Enterprise, Storage: Transformation 2020 survey, they found that the vast majority of respondents—83%—want to buy as many monitoring and incident response tools from a single vendor as possible. With distributed tracing, Sumo Logic now offers APM for cloud-native applications, as well as its existing log analytics and infrastructure monitoring.
