After three years of virtual events, AWS Summit NY in early July had an overwhelming turnout. Nearly 10,000 people filled the Javits Center for AWS Summit NY, the first event of its kind in the Big Apple since 2019.
We’re pleased to report the crowd that showed up in Boston was just as enthusiastic.Sumo Logic reps connected with the Sumo Logic community, customers, and those curious to learn more about Sumo Logic at AWS re:Inforce in Boston, July 26–27.
After the long hiatus, it’s clear that people in our observability and security community are hungry to connect. Sumo Logic feels the same way! Response to our east coast return has been nothing short of amazing, in both Boston and New York.
AWS re:Inforce Boston kicked off with an exceptionally strong keynote speech from Amazon Chief Security Officer Stephen Schmidt, AWS Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer CJ Moses, Vice President of AWS Platform Kurt Kufeld, and MongoDB Chief Information Security Officer Lena Smart.
There was a lot to take in, but a quote from AWS CISO CJ Moses stood out. “We win and lose together,” he said, underscoring the collaborative nature of the conference, and our industry.
Lena Smart sharing some specifics on how MongoDB uses AWS was an intriguing highlight showcasing the myriad of products they leverage to help their company excel.
Kurt Kufeld’s simple, but compelling statement to “skate to where the puck is” also emphasized the teamwork we know is so necessary for success.
When Sumo Logic was named the AWS ISV Partner of the Year in late 2021, we were honored by the recognition. During re:Inforce, we strengthened our alliance by achieving Threat Detection and Response distinction with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security Competency status for Sumo Logic Cloud SIEM and Cloud SOAR solutions. At conferences like AWS re:Inforce Boston, we’re finding this enables us to share knowledge with more people eager to learn the best way to manage their AWS environment.
Live events truly come to life with those in-person connections, and we welcomed so many of you to our booth. We hope you heard answers to your questions and enjoyed our live demos and presentations.
We look forward to see you at our next in-person event, re:Invent!
